Tanger to Partner with Felix Rosenqvist for the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 and 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Season

Felix Rosenqvist will welcome Tanger Inc., a leading owner and operator of outlet and other open-air retail shopping destinations, as a partner for the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 and the remainder of the 2026 IndyCar Series season. Highlights of the partnership include prominent branding on Rosenqvist’s helmet and an integrated social media activation program throughout the year.

The partnership aligns one of the nation’s leading operators of open-air retail shopping destinations with one of INDYCAR’s most dynamic and popular drivers during the sport’s biggest event and across the remainder of the championship season.

During Sunday’s Indianapolis 500 qualifying sessions, Rosenqvist posted a blistering 232.599 mph four-lap average in the opening round – one of the fastest runs of the weekend – before ultimately securing a second-row starting position for the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”

“Tanger is a widely recognized consumer brand and retail real estate leader, with a strong connection to fans and communities across the country,” said Felix Rosenqvist. “To have Tanger join our program for the Indianapolis 500 and continue with us through the rest of the season is incredibly exciting. We’re looking forward to creating strong engagement both at the track and across social media.”

The program will feature Tanger branding on Rosenqvist’s helmet during the Indianapolis 500 and throughout the season, along with digital and social media initiatives designed to connect the brand with INDYCAR’s passionate and rapidly growing fanbase.

With the Indianapolis 500’s status as the largest single-day sporting event in the world and INDYCAR continuing to experience significant momentum, the partnership provides Tanger with a unique platform to engage consumers through premium visibility, authentic storytelling and high-energy content.

“We’re excited to partner with Felix Rosenqvist at the Indianapolis 500 and beyond,” said Leslie Swanson, EVP, Chief Operating Officer at Tanger. “Tanger has always believed in meeting consumers where they are, and this partnership offers a natural way to extend our brand into a high-energy environment with broad appeal. Additionally, with his passion for delivering engaging experiences to audiences around the country, Felix has wonderful synergy with Tanger’s mission, and we look forward to working together to connect with fans in fresh, memorable ways all season long.”

The 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 takes place Sunday, May 24, at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The race will air live on FOX beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
