● The Grand Prix of Portland will be the 32nd INDYCAR SERIES race at Portland International Raceway and the eighth since the NTT INDYCAR SERIES returned in 2018. Al Unser Jr. won the first INDYCAR SERIES race at Portland in 1984, while Will Power won back-to-back races at Portland in 2024 and 2025.
● PIR is one of Rosenqvist’s strongest venues on the calendar. The speedy Swede has finished on the Portland podium twice, including runner-up finishes in 2019 and 2023, and he qualified second at the circuit last season.
● Thirteen drivers entered in this weekend’s race have led laps at Portland International Raceway, including Felix Rosenqvist.
● In the latest collaboration between Meyer Shank Racing and team sponsor SiriusXM, Rosenqvist’s SiriusXM Honda is back with The Grateful Dead, celebrating Jerry Garcia and The Days Between for the Portland race weekend.
● On July 23, Texas A&M announced it would serve as the primary sponsor of Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing entry in the upcoming Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, D.C. The livery will feature a ‘Together We Stand’ theme, conveying a public-purpose message centered on trust, service, leadership and national impact.

● Currently seventh in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES Championship Standings, Felix Rosenqvist has recorded four finishes of eighth or better in his last six starts, including his Indianapolis 500 win on May 24.
● There have been six winners in the first 12 NTT INDYCAR SERIES races this season, including Rosenqvist and his exciting win at the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
● In his 12 INDYCAR SERIES starts this year, the seasoned veteran has completed 96.5% of the laps; a remarkable 1,558 of a possible 1,615.
● Rosenqvist has led 103 laps this season heading into this weekend’s event at Portland International Raceway.
● Firestone tire allotment: Five sets primary, five sets alternate to be used during the event weekend. Teams must use one set of primary and one new set of alternate tires unless wet conditions are declared.

“Portland marks the start of a very intense end to the season, but I’m feeling up for it. Portland has been one of the best tracks on the calendar for me historically, and I’m obviously hoping to build on that this weekend. It’s a wild mix of races coming up, with two of my strongest road courses in Portland and Laguna Seca, mixed with the Milwaukee Mile where we struggled last year and then two brand new street tracks that no one has ever driven before. It probably couldn’t be more INDYCAR than that.”
