Caymus Vineyards Extends Partnership with INDYCAR Driver Felix Rosenqvist

After more than a decade of motorsport involvement, iconic wine producer Caymus Vineyards is proud to announce it has extended its partnership with NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver, Felix Rosenqvist. 2024 marks the third year of the pairing, which has yielded elevated visibility and engagement among the INDYCAR fanbase.

Beginning with this weekend’s season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Caymus Vineyards will again appear on Rosenqvist’s helmet, firesuit and gloves. Rosenqvist first carried the iconic winery’s branding in 2022, when the family-owned and operated winery partnered with the Swedish driver in the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

In 2023, Rosenqvist took Caymus Vineyards on a wild ride, collecting the NTT P1 Award for the XPEL 375 at Texas Motor Speedway in April, and again at the season finale at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. He notably posted an exciting Month of May, turning in one of the fastest four-lap qualifying averages in Indianapolis 500 history at nearly 234 mph, before leading 33 laps in dominating fashion in the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

The partnership with Rosenqvist complements the portfolio of championship and iconic drivers with which Caymus Vineyards has partnered over the years. In the NASCAR Cup Series, the winery is partnered with championship-winning team Stewart-Haas Racing and driver Ryan Preece. Fan engagement and enthusiasm for its iconic offerings have resulted in a successful partnership with the sport.

“Our partnership with Felix over the last couple of years has been thrilling and meaningful both on and off the track, as we’ve gotten to know him better and his fans have embraced our wines,” said Karen Perry, executive vice president of Caymus Vineyards. “With his drive to deliver and his tireless, positive energy, Felix shares many of our core values. We’re excited to extend our partnership into the 2024 INDYCAR season and continue to engage the passionate INDYCAR fanbase.”

When the green flag waves this weekend in St. Petersburg, it will give way to Rosenqvist’s sixth season in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and his first with Meyer Shank Racing. He’s excited to have Caymus Vineyards along for the ride as he chases the series championship.

“I’m excited to have Caymus Vineyards back onboard for 2024. It’s an iconic brand and it’s been an honor to represent them in INDYCAR over the last couple of years,” Rosenqvist said as he prepares for Sunday’s season-opener in St. Petersburg. “I had the opportunity to spend time at the family’s Mer Soleil Winery last year in Monterey and it was quickly evident how Chuck, Charlie and Jenny produce exceptional wines. The attention to detail and care they invest in winemaking aligns well with my vision and commitment to success in INDYCAR. I appreciate their support and look forward to our continued partnership.”
